Very friendly, locally owned establishment. Spacious rooms with King beds in most, some queens also available, mini fridge & microwave in each room. Very clean, rooms & linens changed daily. Great daily prices & weekly discounts available for longer stays. Safe, well-lit parking; Great value when visiting Ada. Mr. Swank
We enjoyed the room and it seemed rather clean except that they missed a breathing piece to a CPAP machine under the bed... The small indoor pool looks fun but was out of order due to maintence. Very quiet and good place to pop in for a rest. Close to a lot of good places to eat.
We had a wonderful experience staying here. From reservations to leaving, no complaints at all! The owner was very pleasant, offered us a room key that gave us a discount at Applebees, after a long day of driving it was nice! Bed was very comfortable as well. The pool was not open, but it is not falsely advertised as some other reviews stated because it is not listed under facilities available on the website and the sign that advertised pool is covered at the motel. This was not a problem for us. The owner also explained why pool is permanently closed and it made perfect sense. We will be staying here again when we come visit family in the area!
It's a good place at a good price. I stay there every time I come to Ada which is perhaps 2 - 3 times a year. The staff are very friendly and the service is superb. Out of the 10 or so times I've stayed there I've never had a complaint. In reference to the negative reviews I would like to say that I worked some years in pest control and I ALWAYS look for evidence of active or past bed bug activity in any hotel room in which I stay and have never found any in any of the rooms I've stayed in at this hotel. (That's a big part of why I keep coming back.) Also I've never had any problem with the wifi.
Hotel is lovely, two storey stained glass with the owners name on it over the breakfast room. Hardwood ceilings, indoor pool, and fresh clean rooms with snow white linens. I love this historic hotel, very classy. Service of staff is sufficient and located between popular restraunts.
The clerk was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. She provided an extra blanket, helped print coupon for another event, and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient.
If looking for a budget friendly hotel keep this one in mind. It is owner operated and they live on site. Very friendly. We had a smoking room wich was in reasonable shape. Some cosmetic issues but everything worked. Wasn't very busy and they seperated in use rooms wich I appreciated. Makes for a nice quiet evening. Though there was a fully mirrored wall right next to my side of the bed. Which was different and distacting on occasion. Overall enjoyed the stay. Still don't like the water conservation shower heads. Would prefer a bit more pressure.
Nice rooms, usually very clean, cheap price. The beds are very comfortable. My wife laughed and said we got a room with a view when she saw the large wall sized mirror beside the bed.
